Throughout his playing career his talent was enjoyed by many people including guitarists worldwide. A fluke accident curtailed his playing career for a while. He was electrocuted on stage and developed a severe skin condition that prevented him playing, but established him as a successful businessman, producing two very commercially vibrant businesses - one of which is still today producing pharmaceutical products to alleviate skin conditions. A proven entrepreneur, he had returned to his beloved “Bessie”- a 1959 Fender Stratocaster(see gallery picture) to fulfil the desire that was taken from him. Eddie  had recently put together a new band, and would have been playing lhroughout U.K. and Ireland doing all the old Smash Hits of all the bands I have played with , Pilot , Thin Lizzy, Creed, ...........the list goes on
